MEET KAT
Kat Dukes is a stick and poke tattoo artist located in Oceanside. She completely self-taught and has been tattooing full-time for five years. She was tattooing out of a refurbished Dodge van, but now has a private studio in Oceanside where her clients receive machine-free tattoos in a relaxing atmosphere.

Steel Honey Stick and Poke Tattoos began when Kat, a lifelong artist, discovered the art of hand-poked tattoos. Driven by a passion for perfecting her craft, she started to create more intricate designs and really hone in on these techniques.
Hand-poked tattoos are not only less painful but also heal much faster. Despite experimenting with tattoo machines, Kat prefers the meticulous nature of this method.
